I’m Sarah and put shortly and sweetly, I’m obsessed with detail.

For the past thirteen years and counting, I’ve specialised in brand work within the world of interiors. And that’s taken many forms.

From introducing storytelling to position Neptune as a respected source of content to evolving the small but mighty Rowen & Wren into a brand full of warmth, welcome and safe haven, my working life is a rich one, a happy one, a thoughtful one. And now my fortunate freelance world is a glorious combination of words and pictures, design and detail, experience and emotion, strategy and output.

My work has taken me to some wonderful places and has meant I’ve worked on (and with) countless creative brands. I’ve been commissioned to shoot for breathtakingly beautiful getaways including Heckfield Place in Hampshire, Borgo Santo Pietro in Tuscany and Sterrekopje in South Africa. I’ve written reams whether it’s elegantly so for the likes of The Newt in Somerset, Neptune and Inigo or the pun-tastic and playful for Wool and the Gang and Lick. Both my photography and written work has been featured across The Sunday Times Magazine, Sunday Times Style, House & Garden and Homes & Gardens, amongst others. And I’m currently consulting on a new brand’s identity as well as overseeing detail in their interior design and consideration in their member experience with something and someone very exciting indeed.

But it’s not just about what I do, it’s about how I do it. My work ethic is relentless, my reliability never wavers, my mind is constantly curious, and my approach is one of warmth, a good dose of humour and a can-do attitude. When leading teams, I’m a known nurturer. When flying solo, I don’t need my hand holding. But the bottom line is I’m someone you can count on, will crack on, and get the job done, making friends all the while along the way.

Intrigued?

I hope so…
